Gritters will be out again this evening as temperatures look set to plunge again overnight.

Much of Wales woke up to frozen windscreens and white fields this morning and temperatures look set to drop again overnight.

Ceredigion County Council has announced that gritters will be out tonight and throughout the week when needed.

A council statement said: “Our gritters will be out on the primary routes due to the danger of ice and frost overnight on 22 November and as and when needed over the coming days.

“Take care and keep an eye on the weather forecast.”

It will stay dry over much of Wales tonight with a risk of frost developing relatively widely. The minimum temperature is expected to be -2°C.
