A swimming pool in Gwynedd will close for two-and-a-half weeks following safety concerns over an air treatment system.
Tywyn Leisure Centre said there had been problems with the air treatment system at Bro Dysynni Swimming Pool.
“As a result, a new system needs to be installed to ensure that the swimming pool continues to operate safely for both our customers and staff,” a pool spokesperson said.
“Consequently, the swimming pool will need to close temporarily while the installation work takes place.
“The work will commence on 9 November.
“The swimming pool will remain closed during this period and will reopen on Thursday, 26 November.”
They added: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
“We are doing our best to minimise the impact on our customers and the services we provide.
“The rest of the leisure centre will remain open as usual.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
The pool is part of a Byw’n Iach leisure centre.
