HAIRDRESSERS in Tregaron and Llanybydder will star in a new fly-on-the-wall series on S4C starting next week.

More chit-chat happens between the four walls of the hair salon than anywhere else.

Imagine getting the chance to eavesdrop on someone else’s chat at the hairdresser?

Well, here’s your chance to do just that, as Y Salon returns to S4C.

Discussing all the day’s hot topics, from local stories to breaking news, the stylists are ready to welcome in the customers once again for a new series, starting on Thursday night.

Which salons will we be keeping an eye on during this series?

Returning for another series are the mother and daughter from Ceredigion – Llinos and daughter Carys, from 3N Gwallt salon in Tregaron.

A small town, but one full of characters!

“Oh! There’s loads of characters in Tregaron. Some that you would never, ever see anywhere else!” laughs Carys with her customers at 3N Gwallt salon.

As the gossip mill of Tregaron, there is never a dull moment at 3N Gwallt, with people popping in all the time to put the world to rights.

“There’s no need for a counsellor at Tregaron – just pop in to get your hair done! Mum’s a good counsellor. People come in just to chat with her – they don’t even need to cut their hair!”
