A BOMB has been exploded on a north Ceredigion beach by experts, after it was discovered near Ynyslas point - the second in just a month.
The Royal Navy bomb disposal team from Plymouth arrived on Wednesday afternoon to blow up the shell in a controlled explosion at Ynyslas beach.
The area was cleared while the ordnance, believed to be from the Second World War era, was dealt with.
It is the second discovery and detonation of a suspected live ordnance at the beach in a few weeks.
