OVER 100 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded across Wales according to the latest figures, released this lunch time by Public Health Wales.
Ceredigion is one of only two counties in Wales not to record a single new case of the virus over the last two days, as no data is published by Public Health Wales on Saturdays.
Merthyr Tydfil is the other county not to record any new cases.
Elsewhere, Gwynedd has recorded six new cases since Friday with five new cases in Pembrokeshire, three in Carmarthenshire and four in Powys.
In total there have been 115 new cases recorded in Wales with one new death, taking the total since the start of the pandemic to 5,572.
The latest rate of infection figures which cover a period between 1 and 7 June show that Ceredigion had a rate of 8.3 cases per 100,000 population.
Powys recorded an even lower rate with 6.0 cases per 100,000.
Gwynedd however has a rate of 20.1 cases with Carmarthenshire’s rate standing at 18.0 and Pembrokeshire recording a 13.5 rate.
