HALF of the population in Ceredigion is now fully vaccinated according to the latest data released today by Hywel Dda Health Board.
50 per cent of Ceredigion residents have now had both jabs of a Covid-19 vaccine, which equates to 36,316 second appointments.
70.2 per cent of the county has now had their first jab which equates to 51,051 appointments.
Elsewhere in west Wales, Pembrokeshire is doing slightly better with 71.6 per cent of people having their first jab and 52.4 per cent being fully vaccinated.
Carmarthenshire has administered the first jab to 68.4 per cent of the population with 50.3 per cent receiving both.
Mass vaccination centres across the Hywel Dda region are now running walk-in sessions seven days a week.
The health board said: "To help all Hywel Dda residents have easy and flexible access to a Covid-19 vaccine, starting from Monday, 28 June, first and second dose walk-in vaccine clinics will run at all Hywel Dda mass vaccination centre across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
"Please call into any of the following centres to receive your first vaccine dose. Available for anyone aged 18 and over or your second vaccine dose if it is due."
The centre at Thomas Parry Library in Llanbadarn, Aberystwyth is open from 10am to 8pm daily, while the Teifi Leisure Centre in Cardigan will open from 10am to 8pm from Friday, 2 July onwards.
There is no need to contact the health board to book an appointment.
