Hywel Dda University Health Board has identified Tudor House at St David's Park, Carmarthen, as the preferred location for the creation of a purpose-built centre for children and young people in Carmarthenshire.
Thanks to the kind donations and fundraising efforts of local people, businesses and community groups, more than £1.1 million has been raised through the Bandi Appeal since its launch in 1999.
Before any final decisions are made, staff, service users and local communities can share their views during a six-week engagement period starting on 2 September.
The proposed centre will create a modern, welcoming space where children, young people and families can access a range of services in one place, meaning families can attend appointments in the same place.
