Madam,
I am researching for any information into a Hawker Demon biplane, which crashed into the sea one mile south of St Tudwal’s island in July 1940. The pilot was saved. The aircraft was a pre-war fighter, but was being used for towing and gunnery practice. The aircraft with 9 Bombing and Gunnery School from RAF Penrhos and had engine failure. It was built by Bolton and Paul of Wolverhampton.
