Madam,

As another holiday draws closer, can someone please explain to me why Powys and Gwynedd Councils can’t get their act together and co-ordinate their holiday school times? For those parents with children attending school run by both councils, the present policy makes family planned holidays a nonsense. To all those elected councillors who are quick to say how much they support family values, how about a little less talk and more action on this issue. What is the point of having a devolved government if it can’t even co-ordinate school holidays?
