Madam,

I would like to respond to Mr K Jones’s response to my letter (‘Application was simple’) and would say that he has missed the point.

My letter to him was not in connection with his planning application, but my reason for writing to Mr Jones was to challenge him regarding his comments made regarding planning officers being unprofessional, which Mr Jones seems to have completely ignored.

I also accept that it would appear that I am on my own with regard to support of the planners, but this makes me even more proud to voice my opinion, particularly since, if we were all allowed to build just what we wanted without permission, what a mish-mash of a place we would all live in.

I am pleased to hear that Mr Jones will be contacting his MP, particularly since Liz Saville-Roberts is a “professional” and therefore will presumably be able to help Mr Jones with his application on which I wish him well.
