In the Cambrian News of 15 September, there was a letter of disappointment at the alleged lack of wisdom in procedure and decision-making over St Winifride’s Aberystwyth; one has to agree.

At a time when all sorts of problems seems to be coming along to the boil, both national and international, one might have hoped that, since these are and were largely due to bad procedure and decision-making that a higher level, even in a largely secular matter, might have been shown as regards St Winifriede’s.
