Harlech Ardudwy Leisure Centre is celebrating Fairtrade Fortnight with coffee morning at the poolside.

The first took place yesterday, Tuesday, 25 February, but don’t worry if you missed it because there will be another one next week on 3 March from 10am to 12pm in HAL’s poolside café.

A spokesperson for HAL said: “Fairtrade supports companies who ensure better wages and working conditions for their workers and also help provide schooling and healthcare for their families.

“At Harlech Ardudwy Leisure on the two Tuesday mornings during Fairtrade fortnight, there will be a collecting tin, competition and a chance to sample a Fairtrade cuppa.

“We also hope that local companies selling Faretrade produce will join us with examples of their wares. So, come along and join us for a cuppa and a chat in our poolside café on either Tuesday, or both!”

If your company would like to be represented, please call 01766 780 952 to book.

Fairtrade Fortnight started yesterday and runs until 8 March.
