Madam,
The idea of double yellow lines in Harlech is not good. The shopkeepers are up in arms about this and rightly so. The High Street is their lifeline and they know this won’t be good for trade. And if anyone should know about this it is them. We all need to be able to park out-side of the shops some time or other without being penalised. Shop owners have enough to worry about, they need pass-ing customers, who call every day. These help local traders to survive. The council is very shortsighted to impose measures that will impede trade. It needs very much to encourage a lot more than it does at the moment. Harlech traders need support to survive.
Yours etc
Jean Miles
Harlech.
