CLLR Russell Sharp reported that he had not heard from Geraint Wil-liams with regard to repairing the Lynch Porch.

A letter was received from Gwynedd Council with regard to the council’s precept for 2016/17. After discussing the budget and foreseeing what the council’s expenditure will be for the forthcoming financial year and the fact that the council have agreed to take over looking after of the salt bins and paying for the beach awards out of their budget, it was decided to leave the precept at £7,000.Planning applications with deci-sions received on them: new house, Tegfor, Llandanwg (NP5/66/246), granted.The council received a letter from Gwynedd Council - Economy and Community regarding beach awards 2016 and asking if the council would be willing to pay the cost of £168 to make the application to Keep Wales Tidy. It was agreed to pay this cost.Gwynedd Council - Corporate Support also sent a letter outlining a list of options that are being discussed as potential interest to the community council to take over from April, for example, public footpaths, public toilets, dog fouling and street bins.It was agreed to draw the Highways Department’s attention to the fact that some of the 30mph and 40mph signs in the village needed attention and also that warning signs that have been left in various places need collecting.It was made known because of the obstacle on Llandanwg beach, that some cannot gain access onto the beach and it was decided to keep a look on the situation.It was agreed to hold the next meeting on Wednesday, 24 February.
