Rotary
ROTARY Club of Llanidloes recently welcomed a new member to their ever growing club.
Alan King was officially welcomed into the fold by Rotary president Peter McCready (pictured right).Induction into the Rotary normally comes after an individual has volunteered their time to help others, and Alan is no exception, having helped the Rotary on many occasions.
Although the club now boasts 26 members, there is still plenty of room around their table for anyone interested in joining. The Rotary’s moto is ‘Service Above Self’ and although their charitable work is impor-tant, the main reason for the club is fellowship, with members meeting once a week to share a meal and a drink.Anyone interested in the club can find out more by visiting www.llanidloes.rotary1180.org or following them on Facebook.
