Llanidloes High School year eight pupil, Gwynfor Davies-Wigley and his horse, Bounty, qualified for the Show Jumping Championships of Great Britain at Cricklands.

They achieved this by riding a double clear round at the Kings Equestrian Championships.The Cricklands Event took place over a gruelling three days, and the competitors travelled from all over the country to compete. Gwynfor was the youngest competitor in his class, and said: “We did well and I am looking forward to the championships in the summer now.”
