I would like to make your readers aware of the help the visually impaired in Ceredigion can receive from the Ceredigion Association for the Blind.

We are a voluntary organisation and strive to help in any way but also have a focus on how technology can lesson isolation and create opportunities. Suitable technology can enable: listening to audio books on portable devices, writing emails, have emails read out, phoning, etc. We provide advice on appropriate technology and where possible, one-to-one training.

If your eyesight is failing and you want to know how to still use your tablet or phone, or if you are interested in how technology can help you, then please contact us.We can loan out some equipment for a limited time to see what might be suitable and offer some financial help in purchasing appropriate equipment.
