On 28 May in Swansea Crown Court the driver of the car who killed my granddaughter, Ellie Bryan, was sentenced to three years and four months. Not much for a life is it.
Her death has left a scar which will never heal. She’s missed every day.
I hope the driver has time sitting in his prison cell to realise that his one thoughtless act has deprived us of our beautiful girl.
Also after two deaths within six months of each other on the same stretch of road, I hope that the authorities now realise something needs to be done. Cutting down a few trees, putting up a few new signs is not good enough. I think the authorities must look at that stretch of road again before there is another tragedy.
