Madam,

On Monday, 29 February I fell as I was walking out of the car park at the retail park in Aberystwyth.

Fortunately I did not suffer any serious injury, but through your letter page I would like to say a big “thank you” to Brenda (surname unknown), the man who kindly produced a thermal sheet and the ambulance crew.

They were all most kind. I do have a rather nasty-looking black eye and a few bruises, but the main damage was to my ego. Once again many thanks to my helpers.
