MOTORISTS are having to endure a huge traffic jam on Penglais Hill in Aberystwyth.

There are traffic jams going both up and down the hill.

One motorist heading down the hill towards town complained about sitting in his car outside the hospital for 20 minutes.

It seems that roadworks near the junction between Llanbadarn Road and Penglais Hill are causing the problem.
