Madam,

Machynlleth is a dog friendly town and, as a dog owner, I am often grateful for the number of businesses who put water bowls out for dogs.

What a pity then that some dog owners are not Machynlleth friendly in return, but are too lazy to clean up after they have allowed their animals to foul pavements. They deface the town and give responsible owners a bad name.

The town needs a campaign to photograph, name and shame these people.
