Theatre fun lovers will have a ball in Aberystwyth later this month – and should be home by midnight.
Louche Theatre presents Cinderella: The Fairy Story at the Morlan Centre from Friday to Sunday, 30 November to 2 December.
Directed by Harry Durnall and written by Sally Cookson and Adam Peck, the festive production offers a feast of fun for all the family.
This stage version of Cinderella has captivated audiences with its dazzlingly original take on one of the oldest and best-loved fairytales of all time.
When Ella’s mother dies, she is brought up by her devoted and loving father who teaches her the calls of the woodland birds that surround their home.
But when her father marries again, Ella’s peaceful life is turned upside down by a host of unpleasant new relations. It appears her only allies are the feathered birds who roost in the trees. But they are no ordinary birds…
Packed with all the well-known characters, crystal-clear story-telling, music and dance, this classic tale of fortunes reversed is brought startlingly and imaginatively to life.
Since its premiere in 2011, Cinderella: The Fairy Story has gone on to brilliantly successful Christmas runs at two London venues, won an Off West End award and been nominated for a 2013 Olivier Award.
Louche Theatre will be presenting Cinderella: The Fairy Story from Friday, 30 November, until Sunday, 2 December, at 7.30pm.
There will also be matinees on both 1 and 2 December at 2.30pm.
