Madam,

I cannot understand why anyone would want to inflict a man-made tree on a beach as beautiful and natural as Borth/Ynyslas.

The submerged forest and the peace and solitude one finds within it will be forever compromised by one man and his ‘art’. When the world is becoming overwhelmed by man-made pollution, why is this granted permission?

I have every sympathy with the good people of Borth who will have to endure the installation of this ‘art’ and then have no choice but to see it every day.
