THE leader of the Wales Green Party has announced the regional list candidates for the upcoming National Assembly Elections at an event in Machynlleth.

The event took place at the Owain Glyndwr Centre, the historic site of the Welsh parliament in 1404 when Owain Glyndwr was crowned Prince of Wales.

The youngest leader of any political party in the UK, Alice Hooker-Stroud, who is also lead list candidate for Mid Wales and West, laid out the areas of policy the party would be fighting on in the run up to the elections in May.

Ms Hooker-Stroud said: “The Wales Green party’s policies are about making and supporting thriving, sustainable communities.

“We are about making Mid and West Wales the green heart of Wales."
