ON MONDAY, 5 September, members of Porthmadog WI met in Y Ganolfan for their monthly meeting.Eifiona Williams welcomed everyone and was pleased to see Roberta Rickard back with us. Our donation to the Denman ap-peal, which had been given in recognition of the services of Jean Lane as County Denman Representative, had been presented at the recent Federation weekend there.Then Mavis O Jones introduced Dr Deidre Burke who spoke about Religious Change in the 20th century. Finally it was time to relax with tea and cakes provided by the tea hostesses, Manon Adams, Rhian Watkin and Eifiona Williams.
