A Machynlleth produce charity has been given a cheque for more than £5,000.

Edible Mach Maethlon received £5,505.15 from the town’s Co-op as one of three Machynlleth local causes benefiting from the Co-op’s local community fund in 2019.

An Edible Mach Maethlon spokesperson said: “This allows us to put on lots more, free veg-growing and cooking sessions to help us all brush up our skills and to bring people together around food.

Huge thanks to the Co-op for the generous cheque.”
