CEREDIGION AM Elin Jones has welcomed Plaid Cymru’s deal with the Labour Welsh Government for spending priorities in the draft 2016/17 budget which includes £300,000 for a feasibility study into reintroducing the Aberystwyth to Carmarthen railway line.

Ms Jones said: “Campaigners will be pleased to hear that we have secured a full feasibility study into reopening the Aberystwyth to Carmarthen rail line, which will see mid and west Wales truly integrated into the travel network of Wales."
