Harlech residents have been thanked for supporting the town’s leisure centre.
On 28 November the Harlech and Ardudwy Leisure Centre held a table-top sale to raise money for the community-run centre.
Locals who supported the fundraising event included Beti Miller who sold homemade jams and Dylan Hughes who sold his locally made honey.
They donated money to the centre in return for a table at the event.
A spokesperson for the leisure centre said: “Many thanks to all who helped make Harlech and Ardudwy Leisure’s table top sale such a great success.
“Stallholders and customers had a great morning, with Christmas cakes and puddings selling out and the array of homemade jams, local honey, hand knits and other produce being snapped up enthusiastically.
“Whilst holidaymakers boost our taking in the summer, winters are quieter. So we really rely on our occasional fundraisers to help keep the centre going.”
The amount raised for the leisure centre has yet to be revealed but takings were up at the till and a raffle made £50.
