A DOCTOR who served two Llyn RNLI lifeboat stations for over 20 years has retired.

Dr Paul Langley served as medical officer for Abersoch Lifeboat Station and Pwllheli Lifeboat Station since 1993.

His role was to advice on medical matters and give crew members the mandatory five yearly medical test.

He was presented with an RNLI gold badge and Letter of Thanks signed by the RNLI’s Chief Executive Paul Boissier last week.

Both stations wish to express their sincere thanks to Dr Langley for his service.
