Three roads in Ceredigion will be closed to allow for several weeks to allow for works to take place.

Ceredigion County Council has given notice of closures that will affect Llanfair Road, in Glanrhyd, Llanfihangel-ar-arth and the C1036 and C1021 in Llanwnnen.

At Llanfair Road, the road will be closed 24 hours daily from 15 October for highway support works to be completed.

It is estimated the road will be closed for four weeks.

An alternative route has been put in place and pedestrian access is maintained.

The C1036 and C1021 in Llanwnnen will be closed off from 9 November until renewal works of the existing asbestos cement mains for Welsh Water have been completed.

It is estimated the road will be closed for around two weeks.

An alternative route has been put in place and pedestrian access is maintained.

Both orders may continue in force for 18 months.
