The A470 at Dolgellau has reopened.

The road closed in both directions this afternoon when heavy rain caused flooding.

Traffic Wales, the Welsh Government’s traffic information service for motorways and trunk roads in Wales, issued an alert about the closure shortly after 2pm today.

According to the service, the road has reopened.

"Thank you for your patience", a spokesperson said.
