I am doing some research about my great-great uncle John Edward Parry, from Bala.

He was Groom of the Great Chamber during Queen Victoria’s reign from 1855 to 1875.

He was also Justice of Peace before 1875 for Merionethshire and Agent for the Ormsby Gore family estate (Lord Harlech).

He died on 31 October, 1875 at Naes y Nenadd, Talsarnau.

He had a large funeral cortege in November 1875 in Bala and was buried at Christ Church, Bala.

Unfortunately, I cannot go to check in archives at present and I was wondering if any of your readers have any information they could share with me.
