DIGNITARIES and worshippers from across Gwynedd congregated on the Holy Trinity Church in Penrhyndeudraeth on Sunday to mark a special anniversary.
A bilingual service of celebration was held to mark 160 years of Holy Trinity Church.
The service was attended by the Lord Lieutenant for Gwynedd, Edmund Bailey Esq, Liz Saville Roberts Plaid Cymru MP, and leaders and members of various community and service groups.
£150 was raised on the day for Cyfeillion Ysbyty Alltwen.
The church was built by donation from Mrs William Cernffydd Oakley of Plas Tan y Bwlch in 1858.
An exhibition of photography by Deudraeth Camera Club featuring images relating to the church architecture and historic churchyard with supporting family history records supplied by Gwynedd Family History Society, will be on display throughout September at the church which is open daily from 9.30am to 3pm until Friday, 28 September.
