Madam,

I’d like to express my thanks to Welsh Water for sticking to their promise, made at a meeting held at the Glaslyn Leisure Centre, Porthmadog, earlier this year.

This meeting allowed concerned residents of the area to discuss issues such as the regular flooding of Tremadog and other affected areas over the last few months.

To that effect, Welsh Water has seemed to be quite thorough in checking and cleaning drains that they were responsible for, in the affected areas of the village.

This alleviates some of the constant worry of flooding every time it rains. We can only hope that Gwynedd Council will be so obliging.
