SPECTACULAR images have been captured of the Northern Lights in the skies above Ceredigion.
The images, which show the greens and reds of the Aurora Borealis — better know as the Northern Lights — as seen from Devil’s Bridge, overlooking the Rheidol Valley, were captured on Sunday evening by Les Fry of Elan Valley Astronomy.
The elusive natural phenomenon occurs when electrically-charged particles from the Sun enter the Earth’s atmosphere, and is not usually visible from Wales.
