Madam,

I would like, through the medium of your letters page and on behalf of Elinor Bridgman’s family, to express our thanks to the splendid team at Abermad Nursing Home for the excellent way they organised a party at the home to celebrate Auntie Elinor’s 100th birthday on 3 September.

They were also responsible for organising a photographer from your newspaper to record the event and for providing a birthday cake. All this they did of their own volition and we are truly appreciative and very grateful to them.

Thank you Abermad!
