THREE volunteers in Ceredigion have been recognised for their contribution to sport in the county.

Cllr Keith Evans, Tony Tucker and Jennifer Davies were presented awards in recognition of their 25 years of voluntary service on Ceredigion Sports Council.

Jennifer Davies, vice-chair of Ceredigion Sports Council, said: “l’m so proud to be able to be part of this sports council. The support and the training of volunteers in our local sports clubs it does, year in year out, is truly remarkable. l look forward to being here another 25 years!”
