A receptionist at the Rhydbach Doctor’s surgery in Botwnnog has had her beautiful hair shaved off to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Jeanette Astle, like most people, has lost close relatives and friends to cancer and decided to do her bit and raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Care, an organisation which does so much for cancer sufferers and their families at their time of need.
The hair cut and shave was performed by Leigh Hughes who also works on the reception at the surgery, and I hear you asking what experience he has, well he does shave and trim his father’s hair!
To date when Jeanette’s hair was being cut and shaved a sum of approximately £900 had been raised thanks to people donating both online and at the surgery.
