A LLyN woman is challenging herself to walk four million steps to raise money for a charity close to her heart.

Susannah Robinson, of Edern, is a volunteer and currently branch chairman of the local Gwynedd a Môn branch of the MS Society, and will be raising funds to help the many people in the UK suffering from the life-changing condition.

Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological condition which affects around 100,000 people, but it currently has no cure.

Susannah said: “MS has been a very big part of my life ever since a very good friend was diagnosed with MS about 18 years ago.

“I have been a volunteer with the local Gwynedd a Môn branch of the MS Society for many years and towards the end of last year I decided that, in 2016, I would make ‘every step I take count for MS’ and to this end vowed to try and walk at least four million steps in 2016 for the charity."
