The AGM of Tanygroes Welfare Committee was held on Monday, 1 February, at Emlyn Café. During the evening presentations of cheques to the value of £5,500 were made to the following charities: Y Gambo, £100; Llewod Bach Brynhoffnant, £400; Penbryn Memorial Hall, £500; Cardigan Cancer Care, £500; Cardigan Swimming Pool, £500; Cardigan Lifeboat, £500; Cardigan Oxygen Therapy Unit, £500; Ceredigion Acute Response Team, £1,000; and Wales Air Ambulance £1,500.
