Storm Francis has affected train services across Gwynedd and Powys this morning.

A rail embankment was damaged by the storm on the line between Pwllheli and Criccieth.

"Train services running to and from these stations may be terminated at and started back from Harlech,” Transport for Wales said.

The line is now open but disruption is expected to last until 10am.

Services have been cancelled between Machynlleth and Newtown due to a tree blocking the line, with delays expected until around 11am.
