The trial of a man accused of murdering his father has begun.
Mold Crown Court has heard how Minnfford man Dafydd Thomas, 65, had "catastrophic facial injuries".
His son, Tony, 44, is accused of stamping on his father with steel-capped boots.
Dafydd Thomas died yards from his home in March 2021.His son was arrested and charged with murder at Penrhyn Isaf, Minffordd on 25 March that year.
Dafydd was the managing director of Gwynedd Environmental Waste Services in Penrhyndeudraeth.
