Criccieth town Council is to support a number of local artistic ideas after securing money for a Unique Streets Project.

The town council and Criccieth Business Forum have secured a grant of £16,000 from Arloesi Gwynedd Wledig for a Unique Streets Project to support a number of excellent ideas which have been presented to increase the number of visitors to the town. The project was launched last month.

This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government. It’s also part funded by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and Gwynedd Council.

In addition, the town council is contributing £1,500 making a total of £17,500 available to work on the project, which was launched in Criccieth on Good Friday.
