I have to agree with John Rees Moss in last week’s edition that second-home owners provide jobs in North Wales.

I have a second home in Gwynedd which is a holiday let. It had remained unoccupied before I purchased it in 2012 and required many weeks of work by local craftsmen, using local suppliers. As an older property, it constantly needs ongoing maintenance, again using local companies.

Our visitors bring their money to the county whilst they appreciate all the beautiful scenery, nature and adventure sports the area has in abundance.
