ATHLETES are to set to flock to Pwllheli this month to take part in the town’s triathlon.

Some of the registered entrants at this year’s Pwllheli Triathlon are coming from as far as Toronto, making it an international event.

Plas Heli, the event organisers, are eag­er to find volunteers to assist and ensure the smooth running of the event.

David Hughes, Plas Heli’s community development officer, said: “Past events would have been impossible without the support of an army of volunteers. We hope to see the same interest and enthusiasm again this year.”
