Madam,
Last Bank Holiday Monday, I visited Bronglais A&E. Previously I had only visited A&E in south east London.
What a difference.
I arrived at 2.30pm, as I believed I had a DVT. I was seen by a junior doctor, had an X-ray, blood test and Heparin jab in my stomach, and was home by 6pm.
If we had been in London we probably wouldn’t even have been seen by a doctor.
Many, many thanks to all the A&E staff that day.
Yours etc,
Janet Collins, address withheld.
