A LIFE-AFFIRMING scheme running throughout Gwynedd has received a welcome financial boost.

The Independant Living Skills department of Coleg Meirion-Dwyfor presented a cheque for £110 to the Barbara Bus Gwynedd organisation.

The charity provides vehicles with wheelchair access for those who can struggle to get around the region by private or public transport, offering users a chance to get out and enjoy all the things that can be taken for granted.
