Re: Our First Minister’s comments about Welsh farmers not being able to compete with our Australian friends on quantity of lamb, I would ask why I have gone to my supermarket locally in the heart of Wales - producers of fine lamb - and found no Welsh lamb in store for the last five days - but the store has Australian lamb in abundance.

I will not buy this on principle The people of Wales must insist on availability and the right price for this prime meat from our good farmers of Wales.......

• What a lovely story of twins Idris and Edmund Davies-Dunn in last week’s Cambrian News, selling tomato plants for the World Wildlife Fund. I’ve had the pleasure of watching these boys grow up. I’m sure they have a great future. Big things grow from little seedlings!
