BALA Town have confirmed the departure of Henry Jones after spending the last three seasons at Maes Tegid,

The talented midfielder racked up over 60 (+18) appearances while also netting over 25 goals during his three years as a Lakesider.

He joined the club back in July 2018 having signed from AFC Fylde, making a return to the Cymru Premier after his spell at Bangor City.

Henry also made an appearance in the Wales C squad while also being named in the WPL Team of the Year.

A moment of magic against Carmarthen in 2018 saw him go viral on social media, after he pulled off an unthinkable rabona cross into the box to set up Steven Tames to take the lead in the match. A remarkable moment that will be remembered by all Bala supporters for years to come.

A club statement said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Henry for his services over the past three seasons, and we wish him well on his future.”
