A VERY successful beach clean was held at Criccieth, with around 100 people in attendance, including a group of students from Bangor University who helped local residents in this annual event.
A total of 100 bags of rubbish were collected along the beach, as well as many large pieces of plastic with a total weight of over two tonnes.
They were removed from the beach with a tractor and trailer, which was paid for by Bangor University, and everybody enjoyed some pizza and a warm drink afterwards at the Dylan’s restaurant besides the beach.
